3295177 - Internal Candidate Cannot Edit Profile Despite Permissions - Recruiting Management

Internal Candidate cannot edit their own candidate profile. 
The fields on the internal candidate profile look editable, but the user is unable to click on any of them on the screen. - It appears Frozen

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Navigate to Careers
2. Go to the My Candidate Profile tab 
3. Try to edit any field which you have permission to edit
4. You are unable to click on any field and edit the information.

There are multiple causes for this issue. 

1. Check Candidates have write permissions defined in the Candidate Profile Template.
2. Ensure Candidates have a country maintained in the UDF File: KBA 2220688
3. Check that the correct RBP permissions are granted: KBA 2187194
4. An unsupported character is configured

Example:

The © character is not supported in HTML format which is causing the error.
Remove the © character from the configuration. 
OR
Replace the unsupported character with entity &copy;
