3295288 - Archive session has status Incomplete Archiving Session after Job was cancelled however all archive files have completed status

Symptom

  • The archiving Write job for an Archive object (e.g. FIDOCUMNT, WORKITEM, etc.) was run in SARA, this job was cancelled due to runtime error SYSTEM_NO_MEMORY at the end of the job.
  • When you check the Write job it has completed successfully, all archive files in the archive session have successful status but still the session is under "Incomplete Archiving Sessions" in SARA.
  • The Delete step (and if scheduled the Store step) also ran to completion.
  • Even so the archive session has status "Incomplete Archiving Session" when checked in SARA => Management
