SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

3295309 - Launch Query Designer throws "Access is denied" exception due to command "StartWithShellExecuteEx"

Symptom

When opening Analysis for Office and clicking on button Launch Query Designer, an exception pop-up comes in and if checking the traces, there will be an entry like the one below:
