Symptom

  • rs_init
    The following warning happens when running rs_init to create a new replication server:
    SQL Server message: msg 14216, level 16, state 1
    WARNING: "Function 'users_with_role' not found. If this is a SQLJ function or SQL function, use sp_help to check whether the object exists (sp_help may produce a large amount of output)."
  • On the ASE side:
    • The da_repserver_RSSD_prim user could not be unlocked.
    • With the same msg 14216, level 16, state
