• Yes, the username of the candidate can be converted into lowercase via business rule

Defined a business rule to change the existing Email information to lower case user name:

Please note that:

• Username is a output field and we should NOT be using any operation (like lowercase) on this.
• Navigate to the email address and select the is primary to Yes (sample and please adjust as per your need) – If you need business type, please select that in the where condition

• Associate this rule to Onboarding

NOTE: This rule will be triggered as soon as Personal data collection is triggered for candidate. So, if you have New hire data review in the process variant, then complete New hire data review step and when the personal data collection is triggered this rule will set the username to lowercase.
