3295788 - Workflow is not restarting after changing a field for example: document type.

Symptom

  • Purchase requisition does not restart after changing the document type.
  • Document type could not be found in the SSCUI - "Manage Conditions to Restart Flexible Workflow".

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Manage Purchase requisition professional application.
  2. Enter the relevant purchase requisition.
  3. Go to edit mode.
  4. Change the document type and save it.

Cause

Document type change is not supported.

Resolution

Document type change is not supported thus excluded from the SSCUI. You may check the BADI - MM_PUR_S4_PR_WFL_RESTART to implement a custom logic for the restart.
