3296343 - Single Record Approval Behavior Change in 1H 2023

The usability of the ‘Single Record Approval’ feature on both the mobile and web-based Time Sheet will be improved with the First Half 2023 release.

This change is based on a customer provided influence request and will simplify the record approval process.

Employees recording time that requires an extra approval step will no longer need to worry about the submission, instead the submission will be done automatically when the record is saved.

The following two steps will become one:

1) Saving the time recording and

2) Submitting the time recording

Once the record is saved, the approvers will find the workflow requests in their inbox. The change in process is not only smoother, but also aligns to the way absences are handled in our time management solution.
