3296469 - '401: Unauthorized' error when calling '/cxf/customMappingWFS' in SAP Cloud Integration

Symptom

When using the SAP Integration Standard Package 'Packaged Integration - SF EC to WFS' and the iflow 'SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Integration with SAP Cloud Platform Master Data Service for Workforce' the messages are failing (when calling a mapping iflow from the main iflow) with the following error:

  • org.apache.cxf.interceptor.Fault: Could not send message. Cause: org.apache.cxf.transport.http.HTTPException: HTTP response '401: Unauthorized' when communicating with <Tenant_ID>. us2.hana.ondemand.com/cxf/customMappingWFS 

Note:

  • Check if the URL contains the endpoint in bold (mapping Iflow).
