3296844 - How to get "bcp out" to trim the columns with char/nchar data types - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • char not null and nchar not null columns are padded to the full width of the column.
  • There are a lot of spaces in the columns with the char / nchar data type in the bcp output file.
  • Is there a way to trim these blanks out?
