3296867 - Access to Various Applications Assigned to a Business Catalog

The catalog SAP_MM_BC_PO_PROCESS_MC has various APPs associated. Is it possible to have access to only required applications?

Standard System Design

It is not possible to modify business catalogs in S/4HANA Cloud. A catalog shared by several applications will give access to the apps.

As a workaround, use Fiori Launchpad Spaces and Pages to customize the tiles display. This would allow you to create two different business roles with the same business catalog, and create separate spaces and pages based on the two different roles which would allow you to include or remove the different tiles. Note: This approach does not solve the issue with the authorization, if the user has access to the original App (i.e. through URL), they could still be able to perform the different activities.
