Symptom

 Typecode 10007 update sent via Odata not updated on Notes in Service Ticket

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open OData Console via OData Service Explorer
  2. Choose POST
  3. URL = https://myXXXXXX.crm.ondemand.com/sap/c4c/odata/v1/c4codataapi/ServiceRequestTextCollectionCollection
  4. TypeCode = 10007 (Reply to Customer)
  5. Add Message e.g. Text with Code 10007
  6. POST is successful
  7. Check Notes Facet on Ticket 
  8. Result:  Ticket is not updated 

Cause

Notes facet is designed only to display TextCollection with Type Code 10011 (Internal Note) which means that 10007(Reply to Customer) won’t be displayed in Notes facet.
