3297068 - Error: "Query script generation failed. See your administrator. Unable to connect to the InfoStore" when using a Snowflake connection

Symptom

  • When trying to create a new Web Intelligence report based on a Snowflake universe,  get error:   Query script generation failed.  See your administrator.  Unable to connect to the InfoStore
  • When testing the connection in IDT with server middleware, get error:  Unable to connect to the Infostore
  • In Web Intelligence logs, it shows error:

**ERROR:C3_GenericDA:(A) *** Cannot open database *** : (false) [kc3cdbgenda.cpp;685]
C3_GenericDA:cdbDARowsetCursor::Open: 0.568
Error=(A) *** Cannot open database *** : (false)
