3297349 - Cannot acknowledge Project Baseline Notifications

• A Project Responsible is unable to complete New Project Baseline Notification tasks in Business Task Management view.
• The tasks remain unchanged.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Application and User Management work center.
2. Go to Business Task Management view.
3. Filter by "Unassigned Items".
4. Notice Project Baseline Notification tasks under status "New"
5. Try to complete them.
6. Tasks remain unchanged.

• The Project Responsible has read access to the PRO_PROJECTS work center.
• But The Project Responsible does not have Write access for this work center.

There are two options available to resolve this issue.

• Assign the Project Responsible Write access to the PRO_PROJECTS work center. This will grant them the sufficient access to complete the notification.
• If write access cannot be granted, temporarily assign a Business User—who already has Write access to the PRO_PROJECTS work center—as substitute. The substitute will receive notifications intended for the original Project Responsible and can complete the associated tasks accordingly.
