When run a AdHoc Table report online, Getting error : Assertion failed: [ReportListDao]: could not populate data in parentTypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'length') while executing report.

This error sometime happens after instance refresh.

• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  
  • Analytics & Reporting(Ad Hoc, YouCalc, Canvas / ORD) 
    • Table (Ad Hoc) Reports

1. Go to Report Center

2. Run or Edit the effected AdHoc/Table report.

3. Error is shown - Assertion failed: [ReportListDao]: could not populate data in parentTypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'length') while executing report.

4.In some cases, when open one table report, screen will get you to another one(with different name).

In most of cases, this is caused by report center out of sync, the error AdHoc Table report is no longer exists in report center, this is why it could not be run. The report should has been deleted or renamed.

Perform Sync Report Centre Search will be helpful for this issue in AdHoc Table report.

After the sync completed, the report with the old name will gone from the reporting list, because it has been deleted or renamed before and not exist in list should be the behaviour.
