3297653 - Manage Pending Hires: Filter dropdown is blank for Position Object field - Recruiting Management

Position filter dropdown is blank even when data exists.

1. Go to Manage Pending Hires > Recruiting
2. Try to select the Position filter
3. The dropdown is blank

This is a known gap in the system. The issue happens when the field is mapped with the Position Object field "std_position_obj" from "jobrequisition" entity in the Candidate to Employee Integration template.

[Example]

It is not supported to use the field "std_position_obj" from Job Requisition as a filter on Manage Pending Hires page.

Workaround

To map the "std_position_obj" field from "offerletter" entity.

1. Add "std_position_obj" field to the Offer Detail template.
2. Map "std_position_obj" field from "offerletter" entity in the Candidate to Employee Integration template. (Provisioning access is required)

Enhancement

We have considered two possible approaches internally. However, due to the code structure of the "std_position_obj" field in Job Requisition entity, it will require significant code changes to support it as a filter on MPH. To have more details about it, you can reach out to your account manager and refer the internal ticket [RCM-114580]. 

As of now, we do not have any plans to support it. If you would like to request an improvement, please submit an idea to our Customer Influence Page, where you can also search and vote for existing ideas.
