Symptom

  • Try to drop an unused agent from HANA system with "DROP AGENT" SQL command failed with error
    • "Could not execute 'Drop Agent "***"'SAP DBTech JDBC: [507]: invalid agent name: :cannot find agent name: ***"
  • We can see the agent though the following query
    • select * from agents;
    • select * from m_agents;
  • There is no mistake in the drop command syntax
  • The agent installation no longer exists in the system
