Error while creating service request.

"The next available downtime slot is only on DD.MM.YYYY.Enter this date/time"

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Service Control Center work center.
2. Select the Systems view.
3. Select any Service Request.
4. Fill the requested details and choose downtime.
5. Click ok.

Error: "The next available downtime slot is only on DD.MM.YYYY.Enter this date/time"

1. Chosen downtime is falling between planned quarterly upgrade schedule.
2. There is no free slot until the DD.MM.YYYY, as shown in error.

1. Check the quarterly upgrade schedule of the tenants. If the selected downtime is falling between scheduled quarterly upgrade, it is required to choose a new downtime after the upgrade.
2. There might not be any free slot due to downtime management issue. To check further, report a case to SAP.
