Symptom

When you try to record time for a Service Agent and upon saving, system throws below error

Save failed: Your entries could not be saved due to errors

Environment

SAP Business bydesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Business Partners work center.
  2. Select the Service Agent view.
  3. Search for the Service Agent ID.
  4. Open the Edit time sheet.
  5. Choose Add row.
  6. Add the activity enter the hour and the work description.
  7. Click on Save.

Cause

Service Agent can only record time on project task. Here, no project task assigned to the service agent

Resolution

Go to Project Management work center and create a project task which you can assign to the Service agent.

Once done, you should be able to record time on that project.
