3297832 - G/L Account Hierarchy 'Export to Spreadsheet' Missing Nodes

When exporting a G/L Account Hierarchy to Excel from the 'Manage Global Hierarchies' app (ID F2918), you notice that the expanded G/L Account nodes are missing from the spreadsheet.

S/4HANA Cloud

1. Open 'Manage Global Hierarchies' 
2. Select a G/L Account Hierarchy with at least one G/L Account Range node
3. Choose 'Export to Spreadsheet'
4. See that the expanded G/L Accounts that appear under the G/L Account Range node are missing from the spreadsheet, despite appearing in the 'Manage Global Hierarchies' app 

The Manage Global Hierarchies app provides the functionality to add an Account Range as a node in a G/L Account hierarchy. These parent nodes be expanded to see what accounts are inside the range. The expanded account nodes are ‘virtual nodes’, which do not technically exist in the hierarchy, and cannot be changed/deleted.

The excel download/upload functionality is provided for a quick and easy way to change hierarchies. Hence virtual nodes do not appear, as users can only change the range itself.

The system behaves as designed.
