3297935 - SAP Datasphere Analytic Models are not shown in AO

Symptom

When connecting to SAP Datasphere (formerly known as DWC) , AO does not show "Analytic Model" in open dialog box.

Environment

SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office

Reproducing the Issue

In the Select Data Source dialog, search for a dataset on the Search tab or try to select a dataset in the list on the Area tab.

Cause

Datasphere Analytic Models are not supported, check: Consuming Data Exposed by SAP Datasphere

Resolution

Only Datasphere Analytical Datasets are supported.

Analytic Models are only supported/consumable in SAC Add-In for Excel.
