3297935 - SAP Datasphere Analytic Models and some Views are not shown in AO

When connecting to SAP Datasphere (formerly known as DWC) , AO does not show "Analytic Model" and some Views in open dialog box.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental". 

SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office

In the Select Data Source dialog, search for a analytic model or Views on the Search tab, no result is shown.

Analysis Office only support Views with a semantic usage of Analytical Dataset as Datapshere datasoure, and does not support other semantic usage Views or Analytic Models. See more info in AO user guide: Analyzing SAP Datasphere datasets

Support for Datasphere in Analysis Office is limitated and only in maintenance window without further support plan.
If needed, please consider using another Microsoft Excel frontend tool called 'SAP Analytics Cloud, add-in for Microsoft Excel'(Also known as 'SAC Excel Add-in'), which supports perspectives and analytic models as datasphere datasource.
