3298455 - Late-stage applicant can view fields that are permissioned at a later status

Symptom

A late stage applicant is able to view/edit fields permissioned from a later status in the application status set

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Invite late stage applicant to Job Req
  2. As candidate, log in to external career site
  3. See fields that are only permissioned for a status that is later in the pipeline than the status you are currently in

Cause

When configuring multi-stage application, all statuses in the status set should be defined in the candidate permissions model, or else the candidate can view all fields

Resolution

Ensure that all statuses in the application status set have at least one permissioned field for the candidate in the Job Requisition template.
