CSF Business rules are not triggered when using Add Concurrent Employment action

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Concurrent employment

Reproducing the Issue

Prerequisite:
 
Define 2 rules:
  • On jobInfo, define an onSave rule TEST_JOB_SAVE, base object: Job Information
  • On jobInfo -> jobInfo_Aus, define an onSave rule TEST_JOB_SAVE_AUS, base object: Job Information

Steps:

1. Go to any employee and Add Concurrent Employment via Take Action. For Company: BestRun Australia (8500) as example.
2. Add a new employee via Add New Employee. Company: For BestRun Australia (8500).
 
Per rule trace, we can see:
  1. Both TEST_JOB_SAVE and TEST_JOB_SAVE_AUS got triggered during Add new Employee.
  2. Only TEST_JOB_SAVE got triggered when adding Concurrent Employment. TEST_JOB_SAVE_AUS was not triggered.

Resolution

This feature will be delivered in b2305 release in preview on 28th April and in Production on 2nd June 2023.

Pre-requisite :

Enable a new opt-in setting in Company system and Logo Settings -> Enable Centralized Services to Add Concurrent Employment on the Manager Self-Service UI (and Enable Configurable Concurrent Employment)
