3298815 - Changing width size in % has no effect for SAP Analytics Cloud Analytic Application

• In an SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Analytics Application (created in the SAC Analytics Designer) template, when you change the width size of a chart panel from "px" (pixel) to "%" (percent), no change occurs in the size.

• When creating a new sample application/story, in similar fashion, the changing of the width size in % is working fine.
• The issue only occurs with this specific template application.

•  SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)

In the application, there is a rule (from the parent widget) which is used and activated to restrict the width for each widget in the panel.

1. Select the parent widget and display the "Builder" tab.
2. Select "OFF" for the option "Enable the rule in Design Time" to disable the rule.
3. Select the widget you want to change the width in % (percent): the change of the width size in % should work without applying the rule.
