3298867 - It is not possible to remove managerId in People Profile UI for EP users - Employee Profile

Standard Manager (managerId) field is populated in People Profile for non-EC users. While trying to remove the manager, the change is not successfully saved. The change is done successfully through Basic Import.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

1. Go to the profile of a non-EC user
2. Click to edit the User Info block with the managerId field
3. Remove the name of the manager and save
4. Change is not saved
5. Edit again, and try to add the expression "NO_MANAGER"
6. No options will appear to select, and the change is also not saved.

The features "Enable Concurrent Employment Management" and "Enable Global Assignment Management" are disabled in Provisioning, then the option to select NO_MANAGER does not appear.

Enable both features "Enable Concurrent Employment Management" and "Enable Global Assignment Management" in Provisioning, and the option to select No Manager will appear:
