3299195 - Kerberos login fails with SCL Error in function:sec_negotiate. Operation: scl_sess_bind() - SAP ASE

Symptom

When logging in using Kerberos:

  • Login fails and receives error messages in ASE errorlog.
  • As a result, ASE server can hang and needs a restart.
  • Message seen ASE log shows:
    SCL error in function: sec_negotiate. Operation: scl_sess_bind()
    Cannot send, host process disconnected: iaase00003454+spid15+eqdbmon 10045 suid: 23
    Connectivity Library (Security Control Layer) Error: Security service provider internal error -1765328347: 'Clock skew too great' occurred.
