You are trying to post a payment allocation and you are getting the following error message: 'The action NOTIFY_OF_PAYMENT_EXEC is not possible. Refresh the screen and try again. If the problem persists, report an incident.'.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Payment Management work center.
2. Go to Payment Allocation view.
3. Select All Payment Allocations.
4. Search for Payment Allocation ID: AAA (AAA represents the payment allocation ID).
5. Click View All. 
6. Click Actions button > Create Proposal.
7. Click Post button.
8. You will see the error message: 'The action NOTIFY_OF_PAYMENT_EXEC is not possible. Refresh the screen and try again. If the problem persists, report an incident.'. 

The Payment Batch of this payment may be in the status Ready For Transfer. Due to that, it is not allowing to confirm the payment from the bank statement.

You need to send the Payment batch first and then post the payment allocation.

If after submitting the payment batch or for some reason you canceled the payment batch and the error message is still happening, please open an incident to SAP Support with authorization for backend corrections.
