3299709 - Dunning Proposal E-mail Configuration Settings

You have noticed that some Dunning proposals are sending from the default system address and you didn't find any configuration to set the default e-mail or you don't know how the e-mail is selected for the dunning process.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Receivables work center. 
2. Go to Dunning view. 
3. Select All Dunning Proposals.
4. Search for Dunning ID: AAA (AAA represents the dunning ID). 
5. You will see that dunning is sending from the default system address. 

The system picks up the e-mail from Org Structure view under the Address Tab of the Organizational Management Work Center.

If there is no e-mail address maintained for company ABC (ABC represents the company) of the dunning, the system will use the Default System Sender Address.

To check what is the Default Sender Address, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Overview view.
3. Search for E-mail and Fax Settings activity.
4. Open the activity.
5. Select the E-mail and Fax Settings option.
6. Here you can see the Default Sender Address.

If you want to send from a different default sender, please maintain the e-mail that you want in the address information of the Organizational Management work center > Org Structures view. Please check the steps below:

1. Go to Organizational Management work center.
2. Go to Org Structures view. 
3. Select the  org unit ID ABC that represents the company of the dunning.
4. Details: ABC > Addresses tab. 
5. You will see that there is no e-mail address maintained.
6. Click Edit button. 
7. Go to addresses tab again and maintain the desired e-mail address. 
8. Activate the selected structure. 

Now the new default e-mail will be used in the dunning as Sender E-Mail Address. You can check the same by following the steps below:

1. Go to Receivables work center.
2. Go to Dunning view.
3. Select All Dunning Proposals.
4. Search for Dunning ID: XYZ.
5. Click Edit button. 
6. Click Preview button > Send Options. 
7. In the very bottom of the pop-up, you will find the Sender E-Mail Address.
