Where can I get the Intermediate Certificate of the new SSL certificate?
Please download the Intermediate Certificate from the Certificate Authority that issued the new SSL certificate.
Accepted file extensions are: .CER, .CRT, .PEM
If you have obtained the SSL certificate file, you can extract the Intermediate Certificate from it.
How to extract the Intermediate Certificate from the SSL certificate?
1. Double-click on the SSL Certificate (.cer) to open the file.
2. Go to the Certification Path tab, select the Intermediate Certificate and click on View Certificate.
Here you will find one Root Certificate, one or more Intermediate Certificate(s) and one SSL Certificate from top to bottom in the following sequence.
Top: Root Certificate
Middle: Intermediate Certificate(s)
Bottom: SSL Certificate
Note:
- If there are more than one intermediate certificates, you need to extract them one by one and combine them into one file.

3. This would open the Intermediate Certificate in a new window. Go to the Details Tab and click on Copy to file.
4. This would open the Certificate Export Wizard. Click on Next.
5. Select Base-64 encoded X.509 (.CER), click on Next.
6. Name the file. Click on Next.
7. Click on Finish to extract the file.
