3300170 - Search Function is not Working in Invoice Scanning View

Symptom

Unable to search supplier invoices based on supplier ID or Supplier Name in the Invoice scanning view.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Supplier Invoicing work center
  2. Go to Invoice Scanning view
  3. Search the Supplier Invoice based on Supplier ID or Name
  4. No records found

Cause

In the Invoice Scanning view under header search, if user search with Supplier ID or Name, system does not show any invoices. This is the current system behaviour of ByDesign.

Resolution

The extended filter allows for more refined searches based on different parameters such as Supplier, External Document ID, Invoice ID etc. Since this is a new enhancement, you can post the requirement in Customer Influence forum - https://influence.sap.com/SAPByDesign
