3300562 - Foundation Objects Table Report - Application error

When you generate the reporter foundation object within the table report and select any object, for example department or business unit, and click on preview, you receive a warning ''An application error occurred. Please try again later, or notify support, with the error information of error Id=dac3cfb5-7f0f-4fe2-9221-cca75ebb2b9d'' if the issue keeps occurring. Click Cancel to continue.''

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to report center
2. Create a new table report foundation object
3. Select an specific object example: business unit
4. Create the report and select all columns in business unit
5. Click preview 
6. Receive the application error 

This is caused by CUST_HEADOFUNIT, this field is set as Transient = Yes, and this is causing the issue.

To resolve this issue please go to:

Configure Object Definition > choose the object affected  > cust_headOfUnit > Transient = No > Save.

Once done, you should then be able to generate the report without error.

Note: SAP advise that if you want to report mdf objects please use canvas report.
