3300590 - Load database process is slow -ASE

Symptom

  • Load database is progressing very slowly
  • Running the following load database command:

load database <database> from '/syback/<dump.file>'
stripe on '/syback/<dump.file.2>'
stripe on '/syback/<dump.file.3>'
stripe on '/syback/<dump.file.4>'
stripe on '/syback/<dump.file.5>'
stripe on '/syback/<dump.file.6>'
stripe on '/syback/<dump.file.7>'
stripe on '/syback/<dump.file.8>'

  • The load % is taking 30 minutes between load, Normally it take less then 20 seconds
  • No other active user spids are running in ASE
