3300742 - Process Communication Error In Shopping Cart "Enter an e-mail address in the output settings"

You have created a shopping cart and even purchase order is created however there is a process communication error.

Error - Shopping Cart cannot create a Goods and Services Receipt

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Home work center
2. Go to Self Services and Self Services Overview
3. Track My Shopping Carts
4. Open the relevant shopping cart ID
5. Under Items tab go to Document Flow
6. You can see the process communication error

The process communication error has occurerd due to error "Enter an e-mail address in the output settings". If you check the output settings for the relevant purchase order, there is no E-Mail ID maintained.

You can follow the below steps to maintain the E-Mail ID;

1. Go to the work center Purchase Requests and Orders
2. Go to the view Purchase Orders
3. Search for the relevant purchase order
4. Select Edit and click on View All
5. Maintain an E-Mail address in the Main Communication
6. Click Save and Close

OR

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center 
2. Go to the Input and Output Management view 
3. Select Output Channel Selection
4. From the drop down menu select Created Purchase Order and click Go
5. For the output channel email please enter an email address by clicking on Add
6. Please enter the email address now and save

Once you maintain the necessary details, you can click on Send Update button or report an incident to SAP to reprocess the process communication error.
