3301209 - Exclusion Reason for Work Incapacity Certificate for Germany is missing from Manage Data

• You are trying to enable the Electronic Certificate of Incapacity to Work (eAU) as described in the Guide article Electronic Certificate of Incapacity to Work (eAU) | SAP Help Portal.
• However, upon checking in Manage Data, you are not able to find it under Create New > Exclusion Reason for Work Incapacity Certificate for Germany.

• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

• Go to Admin Center > Manage Data;
• Search for 'Exclusion Reason for Work Incapacity Certificate for Germany' from the 'Create New' dropdown list;
• You cannot find it in the list.

The object 'Exclusion Reason for Work Incapacity Certificate for Germany' is set as 'Inactive' in the Configure Object Definition tool.

1. Navigate to Configure Object Definitions > Set "Include Inactives" to 'Yes'. NOTE: you may need to run the "MDF Object Definition To DB SYNC" job if is missing under "Inactives". As of 2H 2022, this job can be run via the UI, in the 'Scheduled Job Manager' tool;
2. Then, search for object 'Exclusion Reason for Work Incapacity Certificate for Germany'. Set "Include Inactives" to 'Yes', otherwise you will not find the object;
3. Set the status of the object to 'Active' and save;
4. After enabling the object, navigate to the Manage Permission Roles > Select the admin role you would like to grand access to this object and permission it under 'Time Management Object Permission' section
5. After performing these steps, the object should be available in Manage Data.

Please note: This is a country-specific object, so this option will only be available for absences that have the Country field selected as 'Germany'.
