Symptom
When a Learning instance is created, it has some admin accounts created by default.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Learning Administration >
- System Administration >
- Security >
- Administrators >
- Do a blank search and note that there are some admin IDs already created.
Cause
These administrator accounts have different duties on the system. Deleting or deactivating these accounts can impact on the Learning application functionalities, like automatic processes, connector jobs, etc.
Resolution
The following list shows the administrator IDs created by default:
- AUTO-SCHEDULER
- CONNECTOR
- HOSTING
- HPV4UPGRADER
- OPSMONITORING
- PLATEAU
- SFADMIN
Note: Some other administrator accounts can be created depending on the applications integrated with Learning and more admin IDs can be added in future releases. If you are unsure if an admin account is default and desire to delete/deactivate it, we strongly recommend engage your implementation partner to prevent any feature malfunction.
