3302096 - Manage Permission Roles: Error when saving Manage Permission Role changes

• When attempting to update permission role and save an error is being received .Receiving an pop up error code similar to '0.9769dd58.1674630379.26de4692'

• The customer is not able to update the "Description" of some of their roles, they are facing the following error message:

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Core

1. Go to "Manage Permission Roles"
2. Find the desired role that requires changes  OR   update the long Description for RBP role
3. Complete the changes
4. Save 
5. Receive an error

• The issue is due to special string in the description of the role. For example you have a role description set as "This role covers Payroll Area: HR Exec (HRM)"
• The string 'Exec (' is treated as a PHP injection attack and will be blocked by the Web Application Firewall

OR

•  Description of permission role exceeds the maximum length and legacy Role-Based Permissions page not handles error message well 

• Please change the string to a full sentence and remove any special strings from the description 
• Also If error seems , due to permission role  description field exceeding the maximum length. Please ensure to edit the  description in latest Role based permission  page .
