Symptom
When creating a project, the tax condition type TTX1 is not determined in the Sales Order Service due to an incorrect tax classification in the customer master data. Even after correcting the tax classification, TTX1 is not redetermined.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a Project and trigger billing using the Plan Customer Project app.
- In the follow-up Sales Order Service, notice that TTX1 is missing due to an incorrect tax classification in the customer master data.
- Correct the tax classification in the customer master data.
- Check the Sales Order Service again—TTX1 is still not redetermined.
Cause
Currently, the system does not support re-determination of TTX1 (or other condition types) in:
- Plan Customer Projects (F0719)
- Manage Sales Order for Services (F0804)
Resolution
- Remove bookings from work packages.
- Cancel follow-up documents.
- Reject the relevant billing items in Manage Sales Order for Services.
- Recreate the billing items.
Additionally, consider requesting this feature through the SAP Customer Influence Program to advocate for future system enhancements.
