3302918 - Country field is missing under Job Information Table in Story

Symptom

User is trying to add Country field from Job Information table in Story but this is not available.

Country field is available in Table report under Job Information table but not in Story.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Report Center
  2. Create a new Story report
  3. Select Employment schema
  4. Select Job Information > Country field is missing

Cause

This is an expected behavior.

Resolution

The right way to derive the Country field in reporting is described below.

 

  1. Select Job Information from Employment schema
  2. Show related tables and select Legal Entity
  3. From Legal Entity, show relates tables and select Country/Region

    The field can anyway not be edited independently from Legal Entity. It is so to say a convenience feature on the Employee Profile UI.
