For Cloud to On-premise Scenario : CPI > Cloud Connector > NW ABAP system, following error happened in CPI side:

   Response was of unexpected text/html ContentType.  Incoming portion of HTML stream: (none).

"Response was of unexpected text/html ContentType" means the response from backend is not a expected one, hence cannot be recognized by cloud connector or CPI.

The affected system mapping in Cloud Connector is using protocol HTTP.

The profile parameter icm/HTTP/redirect_X is set on the Web Dispatcher / backend system to redirect all connections to HTTPS (observation: this is configured by default on HEC-hosted systems!).

If the affected system mapping is already configured to use HTTPS, then additional icm/HTTP/redirect_X parameters might be present and interfering with the communication.
