3302934 - Output Items cannot be edited - S/4HANA Cloud

Role and Recipient column cannot be edited (those are greyed out) even though Output items are 'In Preparation' status and document is in change mode.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud All versions

1.  Go to Change Application Document Output items tab. (for example: Manage Billing Documents, Change a Billing Document, Output items)
2.  Even though Output item is in Preparation status, user cannot edit Role column or Receiver ID column.

As per Working with Output Items documentation, Role column and Recipient ID are only editable in Output items of EDI channel.
