3302963 - sp_post_xpload fails on some (but not all) databases , seeing error: "not from a byte-swapped architecture" - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • After loading ASE database backup of ASE on Sun Spark, to recreate index, sp_post_xpload is required.
  • But, when issuing sp_post_xpload in some databases, receive:
    Error: Current database TESTDB is not a database that was loaded from a byte-swapped architecture.
    (return status = 1)
