3303131 - Onboarding Manager Does Not Have Permissions to Onboardee and Signature Step After Rehire on Old Employment [ROOE]

• When manager try to access the task in signature step, to sign the document - system is showing error stating that manager does not have permissions to perform this action
• Once we access the dashboard we cannot access the Onboardee either

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Initiate onboarding process from Recruiting
2. During onboarding, after personal data collection system detected rehire
3. Rehire Coordinator accepted rehire with old employment
4. Onboardee logs in and completes onboarding process finishing additional data collection and document flow
5. Document then goes to the Manager to be signed, and on the manager view we can see the task of document flow is assigned to him
6. When manager try to access the task to sign the document - system is showing error stating that manager does not have permissions to perform this action
7. Once we access the dashboard we cannot access the Onboardee, looking like manager does not have permissions to his future subordinate
8. On Start date, manager gets permission

Product limitation, gap

 

We have created an enhancement for this with reference OBX-25632

It is planned the future releases. For the time being,workaround is provided:

1. Set target group to include all external users in certain location, department as per their requirement so that future manager can get RBP accordingly.
