3303280 - Intelligent Services Center (ISC) to Integration Center (IC) - New / Copied IC job still linked to old ISC Event

You have exported an Integration Center Definition (.icd) file from an existing event-based (ISC-IC) integration in your system

(e.g. the "Employee Hire" ISC event triggers the Integration)

 

You import this back into the same system or to another SF system & intend to use this integration with another / different ISC event. 

(e.g. you now want to trigger the copied / duplicated Integration based on the Employee Termination ISC event & not on the Hire)

 

You observe the copied Integration is still being triggered by the Employee Hire ISC event

But you want to change this so it is triggered by the Employee Termination ISC event & cannot find an option to do so.

When you export the Integration Center Definition (.icd) of an existing job with a link to a Intelligent Services Center Event,

The link / pointer to the original ISC event the job was created with, will be maintained in the exported Integration Center Definition (.icd) file

   

You cannot export / re-import an event-based integration center job & then retrospectively change the ISC event trigger

You must re-create the job from scratch & link it to the desired ISC event at the point of creation in Integration Center (e.g. Employee Termination ISC event)
