3303350 - Unable to login due to high response time in the system - IcmAcceptClient: server overload

Symptom

  • Users were unable to login due to high response time in the system;
  • The dev_disp trace file contains the following error messages at the issue time stamp:

DpSendLoadInfo: Resources with high load
DpSendLoadInfo: Resources with high load
DpSendLoadInfo: Resources with high load
DpSendLoadInfo: Resources with high load
*** WARNING => DpRequestProcessingCheck: potential request processing problem detected (290. check) [dpxxwp.c     5119]

  • By checking the dev_enq_server trace file at the issue time stamp, the server generated a snapshot due to the high load scenario;
  • Just before the snapshot in dev_enq_server the following sample can be seen:

 *** WARNING => IcmAcceptClient: server overload: conn: <number of connections defined by parameter enq/io/max_conn > - accept delayed [icxxman.c    5491]
