3303368 - "Waiting Period" field not available on Time Account Type despite Enabling it

Symptom

  • You would like to use the waiting period field available in Time Account Type object
  • However, even if the visibility is set to Editable, the field is not being displayed when creating a new time account type

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Configure object Definition -> Time account type
  2. Try to enable / Make the "Waiting Period" field visible

Cause

Expected Behavior

Resolution

  • The Time Account Waiting period is a standard object and this field on the Time Account type should not be configured manually.
