Symptom

After scoping SAP Intelligent RPA / BPA in SAP Business byDesign, when you access the factory, you get the below error

Unable to load the factory, Access is denied

Environment

SAP Business bydesign

Reproducing the Issue

Access the Service URL (RPA / BPA factory URL) from iRPA Application Communication Arrangment

Cause

User doesn't have enough permission to access IRPA / BPA

Resolution

  1. Go to Application and User Management work center
  2. Go to Business Users view
  3. Highlight the user
  4. Select the button 'Assign BTP roles'
  5. Assign the required role to the user (Admin / User)
