3303451 - Error: "Company AAA already exists as company of another company tax arrangement with a tax return arrangement for tax return type XYZ"

While adding Subsidiary Company in the Company Tax Arrangement, an error message is being raised:
"Company AAA already exists as company of another company tax arrangement with a tax return arrangement for tax return type XYZ"

AAA means the Subsidiary Company ID
XYZ means Tax Return Type, for example, WHT Return - 102, WHT Return - 856, etc.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Tax Management Work Center.
2. Click on Tax Authority View.
3. Select the Tax Authority and click on Edit.
4. Go to Company Tax Arrangements tab.
5. Select the Company BBB (BBB means the parent Company ID).
6. Go to Subsidiaries tab.
7. Click on Add Row.
8. Enter the Company AAA and Valid From date.
9. Click on Save.
10. Error Messages appear: "Company AAA already exists as company of another company tax arrangement with a tax return arrangement for tax return type XYZ".

The Parent Company BBB has the Tax Return Arrangement for Tax Return Type XYZ. Now, while trying to add company AAA as Subsidiary to BBB, it is expected to give error.

Basically, the Subsidiary Company AAA has the Tax Return Arrangement for Tax Return Type XYZ, in the same Tax Authority. It is not possible or not necessary to add a Subsidiary with a Tax Return Arrangement which already exists in the Parent Company BBB.

A case has to be raised to SAP. The Subsidiary Company will be updated from backend system by SAP Support.
