Symptom

You have created Sales Orders in your system and you noticed one of the scenarios below occurs:

  • In VBAK table, document number (VBELN) is not in numeric sequence.
  • In VBAK table, exists gaps in document number (VBELN) sequence.
  • In VBAK table, document number (VBELN) is in correct sequence, however creation date (ERDAT) is not in sequence.
