Unable to change Post Automatic flag for G/L account in App Manage G/L Account Master Data (F0731A)

G/L accounts belong to account groups. The account groups that are delivered as part of SAP Best Practices reference content are configured to support common business practices. For that reason, only the settings in the following account groups allow you to change the value for the Post Automatically Only attribute:

• Income Statement Accounts

• Materials Management Accounts

When a G/L account belongs to one of those account groups, you can edit the value, that is, in edit mode, a checkbox is displayed for making changes. If the G/L account belongs to other reference content account groups, the value can’t be changed in edit mode.
