3304102 - saptools database can not be recovered due to OS disk full - SAP ASE

Symptom

1. ASE can be started but saptools cannot be recovered, ASE log has following messages,

00:0002:00000:00002:xxxx/xx/xx 18:27:20.61 server  Started recovery checkpoint for database 'saptools'.
......
00:0002:00000:00002:xxxx/xx/xx 18:27:20.61 server  Roll back transaction '$chained_transaction' -- was aborted.
00:0002:00000:00002:xxxx/xx/xx 18:27:20.61 server  Undo pass for database 'saptools': 39811 records done (100%); -3 records left.
00:0002:00000:00002:xxxx/xx/xx 18:27:20.61 server  Undo pass of recovery has processed 3 incomplete transactions.
00:0002:00000:00002:xxxx/xx/xx 18:27:20.61 server  Completed UNDO pass for database 'saptools'.
00:0002:00000:00002:xxxx/xx/xx 18:27:20.61 server  Started recovery checkpoint for database 'saptools'.
00:0011:00000:00000:xxxx/xx/xx 18:27:21.19 kernel  sddone: write error on virtual disk 8 block 21912512:
00:0011:00000:00000:xxxx/xx/xx 18:27:21.19 kernel  sddone: No space left on device
00:0011:00000:00000:xxxx/xx/xx 18:27:21.19 kernel  sddone: write error on virtual disk 8 block 21912520:
00:0011:00000:00000:xxxx/xx/xx 18:27:21.19 kernel  sddone: No space left on device

2. check OS disk space is 100% full

'df -h' output like below,

/dev/mapper/<name>  50G 50G 100%   /sybase/<SID>/sapdiag
