3304173 - Unable To Change Number Range For Inbound and Outbound Delivery

Symptom

You are trying to modify number ranges to a custom specifc range for Inbound Delivery and Outbound Delivery ID's however unable to do so.

Environment

SAP Business Bydesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Configuration workcenter.
  2. Go to Overveiw and find :Document Numbering Formats for Outbound Delivery/ Document Numbering Formats for Inbound Delivery.
  3. Open and try to update custom numbering range
  4. There is no way to add the custom number range 

Cause

Currently, there is no current feature to select and maintain starting custom number range

Resolution

The system allows to add only prefix to the ID's,  however there is no way to add specfic number range.

This is an expected system behavior.
